It's disguised as your normal run-of-the-mill car key so as not to arouse suspicion. Now, how you choose to employ it is up to you - maybe ask your victim to try and get the key to pop out as you can't do it, or perhaps ask for their assistance with the central locking on your car as it doesn't seem to work when you try it; both plausible starting points that shouldn't set the alarm bells off.
Whichever way you get them to press the button, once they do, just make sure you have a camera ready for their reaction!
